I
spent some time in finding wing mirrors I liked. I decided in the
end to get some from a Rover 75. Here the basic mounting plates
are cut out. The triangular shape from ½” mild steel plate and
the other from 3/16” mild steel.

The
pieces finished and ready for chroming.
Note the copper pipe
across the angle of the bracket to give stability for the bracket
and a route for the wiring.

I
bought a pair of chrome headlamp shells from Knebworth autojumble.
They did not have mounting brackets. Here I am beginning to turn
the bosses that fit into the wings.
